How it all began
Lavish Leora was founded in Chennai in 2019 by Leora Krishnan — a textile enthusiast and designer who grew up surrounded by the vibrant colours of South Indian silk markets. Frustrated by the lack of premium ethnic wear that balanced heritage with contemporary sensibilities, she set out to create a boutique that celebrated both.
The name "Lavish Leora" reflects our philosophy: fashion that is lavish in quality, storytelling, and experience — never in excess. Each collection is curated to bring you pieces that are timeless, versatile, and deeply meaningful.
Today, we work with over 50 artisan families across Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Rajasthan — honouring their craft while giving you access to India's finest handmade fashion.
